The learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed in the meantime as the work order has already been issued as far back as on 16th July, 2025. The private respondent is represented by its learned advocate. He submits that false allegation has been leveled against the private respondents in the writ petition.

The petitioner has prayed for issuance of a mandamus to finalise the tender process by completing the financial bid and to issue work order in favour of the highest bidder. Since the work order has been issued in the meantime, the instant writ petition has become infructuous and the same stands disposed of accordingly.

Since affidavits were not called for, the allegations contained in the writ petition shall not be deemed to have been admitted.

The report of the Superintending Engineer dated 4th November, 2025 filed by the learned advocate for the State is taken on record.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
