The only grievance of the petitioner in the present writ application is that the name of the petitioner is deleted from the voter list and, accordingly, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the Appellate Tribunal being Appeal No. APS2509G020426576218 dated April 2, 2026 but the said appeal is pending though the election is on April 29, 2026.

He submits that if the Appellate Authority decides the appeal preferred by the petitioner and the name of the petitioner is included in the voter list, the petitioner will get an opportunity to cast his vote on April 29, 2026. 4.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of by requesting the Appellate Tribunal to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner being Appeal No.

APS2509G020426576218 dated April 2, 2026 as early as possible and to pass a reasoned and speaking order. 5.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary formalities.
