Versus

Smt. Suparna Ghosh Mr. Fazlul Haque Mr. Sanatan Mondal ... For the petitioner.

1. The instant revisional application has been filed inter alia praying for a direction for expeditious disposal of the Title Suit No. 125 of 2018, pending before the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division) Ghatal, Paschim Medinipur.

2. Mr. Haque, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the defendant/petitioner would submit that the above suit and a connected application had been filed on 10th October, 2018 and though an ex party ad interim injunction was granted directing the defendant no.1 to maintain status quo in respect of the suit property, the said injunction application is yet to be disposed of, though the petitioner had duly filed written objection in the matter.

3. Having heard the learned advocate for the petitioner and considering the nature of relief sought for, the aforesaid revisional application is

taken up for consideration without service of prior notice on the opposite party.

4. Having regard to the pendency of the aforesaid injunction application for more than 6 years, I am of the view that the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division) Ghatal, Paschim Medinipur, should expeditiously takes steps to dispose of the aforesaid injunction application filed by the plaintiff on 10th October, 2018, within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties.

5. The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the aforesaid revisional application along with the order on the opposite party.

6. The revisional application stands disposed of accordingly.
