The petitioner complains of police inaction.

The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the private respondents are preventing the pisciculture business of the petitioner. The complaints to the police did not evoke any response.

The State and the private respondents are represented.

The learned advocate appearing for the State submits on the basis of the report dated June 17, 2021 that there are several cases pending. So far as the complaint of the petitioner is concerned, the police inquired into the same and

prosecution under Section 107 of the Criminal Procedure Code was submitted.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondents submits that private respondents are owners of the water body on which the petitioner claims the right of pisciculture. The claim of the petitioner is false.

In the facts of the present case, there appears to be disputes between the private parties with regard to water body and the right to carry on pisciculture thereon. So far as the police complaint is concerned, the police acted on the basis thereon and submitted a prosecution under Section under Section 107 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

Previous police complaints were registered as First Information Reports and investigations with regard thereto are in progress. In such circumstances, no further interference is called for in the present writ petition.

W.P.A. 10571 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly.

The parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
