In the present writ petition the petitioner has challenged in-action on the part of the respondent authorities in failing to consider him for promotion after completion of the period of penalty issued by the Disciplinary authority vide order dated July 21, 2018.

Considering the submissions of the parties, this court is of the view that this court does not have the territorial jurisdiction to receive, try and entertain the present writ petition.

In such view of the matter, WPA 9566 of 2023 is dismissed.

The petitioner will be at liberty to take appropriate steps, before the appropriate forum, if so advised.

Since no affidavits have been called for in the writ petition, the allegations contained therein be deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents.

All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Hon'ble Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
