Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

Matter is heard in presence of the learned advocates representing the parties.

The grievance of the petitioner centers around his service book in connection with service petitioner is rendering in Kalna Maharaja's High School, District- Purba Bardhaman as Assistant Teacher.

From the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner and the aforesaid school authority, it appears that the original service book of the petitioner is lost resulting in reconstruction of the service book by the said school authority. Copy of the reconstructed service book is produced before

this Court and the same taken on record.

During course of hearing copy of the reconstructed service book is made over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner. In view of steps taken by the school authority by reconstructing service book of the petitioner the grievance of the petitioner appears to have been redressed.

However, notice of this Court has been drawn to a show-cause letter dated 16th January, 2021 issued by the Headmaster of the aforesaid school and another letter of intimation dated 28th October, 2021 issued by the said school authority. Regarding the steps taken by the said school authority on issuing show cause letter this Court is not making any observation at this stage since it is submitted by the said school authority that in spite of repeated letters no reply has been received from the petitioner.

Such submission made on behalf of the school authority is disputed by the learned advocate representing the petitioner.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.

However, this order shall not preclude the school authority to take steps if it is found that

petitioner remained unauthorisedly absent in the school.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
