Heard Mr. Chakraborty, learned advocate appearing for the appellant and Mr. Sen, learned senior advocate appearing for the Calcutta State Transport Corporation. It appears that during pendency of the present appeal, the disciplinary proceeding initiated against the appellant has already been concluded and the final order has been passed on 15th July, 2021. In view thereof, the present appeal has become infructuous.

Mr. Chakraborty submits that the appellant would prefer a statutory appeal against the final order passed in the disciplinary proceeding within a period of two weeks from date.

In the event such statutory appeal is preferred within the said period of two weeks from date, the competent authority would consider and dispose of the same on merits, as expeditiously as possible.

With the above observations, the appeal and the connected application are disposed of.
