Petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that their complaints are not being addressed by the Officer-inCharge, Patashpur Police Station, Purba Medinipur. State has submitted a report. Report reflects that as soon as the petitioners appear at the police station and sign the formal complaint himself the FIR would be registered.

In view of the report so submitted by Mr. Banerjee, learned advocate appearing for the State, I am of the opinion that the petitioners would approach the concerned police station with a formal written complaint, police authorities would act as they have submitted before this Court through their report.

Let the report submitted by the State be kept with the record. Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners.

In light of the observations above WPA 9699 of 2025 is disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
