A.G.P., Mr. Subrata Guha Biswas ....for the State Mr. Kalyan Kumar Bhattacharjee, Ms. Reshmi Khatun ....for the respondent nos. 6 and 7 The Officer-in-Charge, Debra Police Station, Paschim Medinipur, has filed a report before this Court. It appears from the report that sometime in the month of May, 2022, the petitioner was compelled to leave his first wife, son, daughter-inlaw and grandchildren to stay with another lady. The petitioner was living in a smaller house with the other lady. The petitioner now wants to return to his house and his first wife.

In the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, notwithstanding the fact that the petitioner is a senior citizen, this Court is not inclined to enter into the civil rights between the parties. An appropriate civil proceeding may be taken out in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

The report in the form of instructions of the Debra Police Station, Paschim Medinipur, dated September 14, 2022, addressed to State Advocate, is kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
