There is a dispute in between the flat owners of different flats in the subject building.

The petitioners allege assault at the hands of the private respondents. Complaint was lodged before the police. Allegation is that the complaint is not being investigated in the proper manner.

Learned advocate representing the State respondents relies upon the report filed by the Inspector of Police/Officer-inCharge, Sinthi Police Station signed on 31st July, 2023, which mentions that there are several cases and counter cases between the parties and in one of such cases, charge sheet has already been filed against some of the private respondents.

Copy of the police report has been handed over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner in Court today. It will be open for the petitioners to take appropriate steps before the learned Trial Judge.

The police are directed to ensure that there is no breach of peace in the locale and the life and property of the petitioners are not jeopardized by any person whatsoever. The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously, on compliance of usual legal formalities.
