1. Petitioner submits he is an Indian citizen. He relies on voter's identity card in support of such plea.

2. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the bail prayer. He submits petitioner procured voter's identity card claiming to the son of Abdus Samad Mondal. Investigation has revealed petitioner had no relationship with the said Abdus Samad Mondal.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Investigation shows petitioner is not the son of Abdus Samad Mondal. His name has been struck off from the voter's list.

4. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
