For the State The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application upon Ms. Trina Mitra, Learned Advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. His appearance may be rgularised by the concerned authority. Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that Magrahat P.S. Case No. 07 of 2020 dated 03.01.2020 was initiated on 3rd January, 2020 and even after the chargesheet was submitted on or about September, 2020, there has been no progress in the case and till date charge has not been framed.

The Learned Advocate draws the attention of the Court to the order-sheets, which have been enclosed along with the revisional application, which reflects that on each and every date, a petition had been filed on behalf of the

accused for being absent and the Learned Trial Court has been granting adjournment on the same.

Record reflects that the next date is fixed on 25th of September, 2023.

The Learned Trial Court is directed to monitor regarding the supply of copies under Section 207 of the Cr.P.C. to the accused person(s) on the next date or within a fortnight thereafter.

The Learned Trial Court would not unnecessarily delaying any further and fix the next date after supply of copies in the month of December, 2023 and on each and every month would fix a date so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

It is further directed that all efforts be taken for consideration of charges by 31st of January, 2023, thereafter, regular dates be fixed on every month so that the evidence of the witnesses are completed within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 1474 of 2023 is disposed of.
