Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept on record. Based on the settlement agreement executed between the parties on 11th September, 2023 an application for effectuating compromise seeking appropriate orders vide CRAN 1 of 2023 has been filed duly affirmed by both the parties. The revisional application has been filed against order dated 11.03.2011 passed by the learned 2nd Judicial Magistrate at Tamluk which rejected the prayer for discharge of the petitioner in connection with the Tamluk Police Station Case No.

of dated 15.07.2008 under Sections 406/420/120B of the Indian Penal Code. During the pendency of the revisional application an amicable settlement of the dispute between the parties based on the averments made in paragraphs 3,4,5 and 6 of CRAN 1 of 2023 has been achieved.

The charges under Sections 406/420/120B of the Indian Penal Code between the parties do not involve public policy. Under the provisions of Section 320 of the Cr.P.C. the instant revisional application can be compounded. The proceedings being Tamluk police Station Case No. 128 of 2008 dated 15.07.2008 under section 406/420/120B of the Indian Penal Code (G.R. No. 566/2008) passed by the learned 2nd Judicial Magistrate, Tamluk is quashed.

The instant revisional application and the connected application being CRAN 1 of 2023 are, accordingly, disposed of. Department is directed to communicate this order to the learned trial court immediately for information. (Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J.)
