As none appears for the State, Mr Arijit Ganguly, who ordinarily appears for the State, is directed to represent the State in this case. His appearance may be regularised by the concerned authorities. I have considered the contentions advanced in the revisional application praying for a direction upon the Superintendent of Police, Birbhum as well as the officer in charge of Nalhati police station regarding recovery of the vehicle.

This court while exercising its inherent jurisdiction is not empowered to act as an original court as the same is vested with the jurisdictional Magistrate. The petitioner approached this court for exercising power of a Magistrate which is not permissible in law. Hence the revisional application - CRR No.878 of 2013 - is dismissed.

Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
