The petitioner shall serve notice upon the respondents and also at the Office of the learned Government Pleader along with a copy of this order and shall file affidavit-of-serve when the matter shall be taken up next.

It is made clear that, in the event the respondents shall not appear on the next day, the writ petition may be considered in their absence.
