1. Heard learned lawyers for the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. Evidence on record implicates the petitioner in the murder. Delay in the matter is due to tactics adopted by the defence to defer cross examination of witnesses.

3. In view of the materials on record and gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
