The petitioner complains of police inaction.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that despite the complaint dated April 24, 2021 police are in active.

The State and the private respondents are represented.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the complaint of the petitioner was enquired into and the prosecution under Section 107/116 of the Criminal Procedure Code was submitted. According to her on enquiry it was found that there was a long standing dispute between the private parties. It appears from the tenor of the complaint lodged by the petitioner that there are disputes which are civil in nature between the petitioner and the private respondent. Nonetheless police on receipt of the complaint of the petitioner took steps, enquired into it and submitted a prosecution as noted above.

The police having taken steps as noted above no further interference is warranted by this Court. The private parties are at liberty to resolve their disputes before the appropriate forum in accordance with law.

W.P.A. 10588 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly. The parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
