The petitioner is an Associate Professor of the Department of Bengali at Raghunathpur College, District- Purulia. In spite of service, the erstwhile Principal of the college, the respondent no.6 herein is not represented. A disciplinary proceeding has been initiated against the respondent no.6; the petitioner is praying for a direction for expeditious disposal of the said disciplinary proceeding. This Court is informed that the enquiry is complete, therefore, it is expected that the disciplinary authority shall bring the said proceeding to its logical conclusion expeditiously, preferably within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.
WPA 9654 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
