And In Re : Sk. Sabir @ Sk. Sabir Ali ...... petitioner Mr. Suman De Mr. Abhinaba Mukherjee Ms. Reshmi Khatun ....for the petitioner Ms. Zareen N Khan Mr. Ashok Das ....for the State The injured names the petitioner as one of the assailants. In an incident of assault, the injured suffered injuries resulting in his hospitalisation as well as removal of his spleen. Village police was also asaulted. Prayer for anticipatory bail of co-accused was rejected on April 19, 2023 passed in CRM (A) 1652 of 2023.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1737 of 2023 is dismissed.
