Petitioner submits there is delay in lodging FIR. He prays for bail.

Learned lawyer for the State opposed the prayer for bail. Learned lawyer for the defacto complainant submits that police authorities refused to take complainant. We have considered the statement of the victim lady. She alleges that she had been ravished by the petitioner in presence of her minor daughter. Other statements also implicate the petitioner. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
