Mr. Dyutiman Banerjee Mr. Ayanava Das ...for the petitioner Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, during the pendency of the writ petition, steps have been taken by the Panchayat as well as the respondent authorities for construction of the road, as prayed for in the writ petition.

In view of this, I am not inclined to keep this writ petition pending, notwithstanding the insistence of the learned advocate for the petitioner that the matter be kept pending to monitor the progress of the road construction.

Needless to mention, if there is any laches or negligence on the part of the respondent authorities in future, the petitioner shall be at liberty to approach this Court by filing a fresh writ petition.

Accordingly, WPA 10554 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
