Report submitted by the State is taken on record. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that pursuant to a direction of this Court, the application under Section 227 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been disposed of by the learned trial Court. Charge is yet to be considered.

In view of the above, the learned trial Court is directed to consider the charges against the petitioners on the next date fixed before him and if the same is not possible due to unavoidable circumstances, within two weeks thereafter. The learned trial Court shall take the proceeding to its logical conclusion within one year from the date of consideration of charge, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

CRR 1557 of 2024 is disposed of.
