The grievance of the petitioner is directed against non-supply of a fresh electricity connection to the premises of the petitioner. It is submitted on behalf of CESC Ltd. that pursuant to an order dated 30th April, 2026, they have caused an inspection and they have found that the petitioner has throughout been supplied electricity.

On behalf of the private respondent, it is submitted that there has been no disconnection and the grievance of the petitioner is baseless and mischievous. In addition, there are pending civil disputes by and between the private respondent and the petitioner.

In view of the above, it appears that this is not a case of disconnection and the entire

grievance of the petitioner is misconceived and without any basis whatsoever.

WPA 10177 of 2026 stands dismissed.

Liberty is granted to both the petitioner and the private respondent to take necessary steps in accordance with law.
