Petitioner is aggrieved by the progress of Amta PS Case No. 30/2025 dated 01.03.2025. The principal grievance of the petitioner is that neither the accused persons were arrested nor the police authorities have taken steps to trace out them. Additionally it has been submitted that the accused persons are threatening the petitioner.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that charge sheet has been submitted on or about 23.04.2025 before the learned ACJM, Uluberia. The report also reflects that accused persons have surrendered and they have obtained bail from the concerned court. Having regard to the prayers so advanced, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the issue relating to bail she would approach the

jurisdictional court under the relevant provisions of law.

So far as the issues relating to threats are concerned, petitioner being a witness if she files an application before the learned ACJM, Uluberia he would conduct an enquiry thereby calling for a threat perception report from the concerned police station on receipt of such report the learned Magistrate if deems fit and proper would pass necessary directions under the Witness Protection Scheme, 2018.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 9771 of 2025 is disposed of.
