Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 144 days and the subject-matter of the case involves alleged recovery of 20 bottles of Codeine Phosphate, although the petitioner was implicated on the basis of statement of the co-accused. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail. It has also been submitted that another accused viz. Md. Babar has been granted bail on 02.04.2026 in CRM (NDPS) 543 of 2026.

Having considered the overall circumstances, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. Accordingly, the present petitioner viz., Maharul Khan be released on bail by the learned Trial Court on the same terms and conditions as the other accused viz. Md. Babar who has been granted bail in CRM (NDPS) 543 of 2026.

The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 873 of 2026, is, thus, disposed of.
