1. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the victim was inebriated and had fallen down resulting in head injuries. Accordingly, he prays for bail.

2. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses show there was a dispute between the deceased and one Anil. Thereafter petitioner and others had assaulted the deceased. In view of the aforesaid evidence on record and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
