Despite service, none appears on behalf of the respondent No.4. Affidavit-of-service is taken on record. It appears that on April 4, 2022, the petitioner lodged a general diary indicating that the respondent No.4 had committed some nuisance. The other allegation was that some unknown persons visited the premises and disturbed the petitioner and his daughter.

The writ petition is misconceived as it does not appear to the Court that the complaint discloses commission of any cognizable offence.

Under such circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Officer-in-Charge, Bansdroni Police Station, to keep a vigil in order to ensure

that the petitioner is not unnecessarily harassed by the respondent No.4.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
