Item No.41 CRIMINAL REVISIONAL JURISDICTION Ct.No.34 dc.

C.R.R. 1765 of 2022 M/s Bhole Baba Traders Private Limited versus The State of West Bengal & Anr.

In Re: An Application under Section 483 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

Mr. Karan Daga ... For the Petitioner.

This revisional application has been preferred for expeditious disposal of Complaint Case No. CS-0068266 of 2016. The case is under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and has been continuing for almost six years.

It has been submitted that evidence of the complainant is complete.

In view of the aforesaid and the time period which has expired, I am of the opinion that the learned trial court should fix at least one date in a month to take the trial of the case to its logical conclusion keeping in view the intention of the legislature as is expressed under Section 143(3) of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 1765 of 2022 is disposed of. All pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
