Learned advocate for the opposite party no. 2 filed a judgment and order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India dated 6.12.2021 passed in Criminal Appeal no. 1561 of 2021 (SLP (CRL.) no. 6958 of 2018 - Hardeep Singh Purba Vs. The State of Assam & Anr.).

The Hon'ble Supreme Court was pleased to pass a judgment and order dated 6th December, 2021, inter alia, quashed the proceeding being Karaya PS case no. 214 of 2017 as the matter has been settled between the parties in exercise of powers under Article 142 of the Constitution of India.

In view of the said facts, the instant revisional application has become infructuous and accordingly, CRR 1421 of 2018 is thus dismissed as infructuous. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
