1. The District Inspector of Schools forwarded a report dated 4th July, 2024 annexing the calculation of interest prepared by the school authority.

2. As it appears that the amount due to the petitioner was paid after a long period of time, accordingly, the interest that is payable and calculated by the school authority be disbursed in favour of the petitioner.

3. The concerned District Inspector of Schools is directed to take necessary steps to verify the calculation forwarded by the school authority and take necessary consequential steps to disburse the same at the earliest.

4. All payment in favour of the petitioner shall positively be released by 31st March, 2026.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities. (Amrita Sinha, J.)
