Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner No.1 is in custody for 403 days and petitioner No.2 is in custody for 413 days respectively. Co-accused viz., Jeet Saha has been enlarged on bail on the ground of delay in trial. Though three witnesses have been examined, prosecution proposes to examine thirty witnesses. There is no possibility of trial concluding in the near future.

Under such circumstances, we are inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail.

Accordingly, the petitioners viz., Riktanjan Bal and Raja Sikdar shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court, Bankura subject to condition that they shall appear before the trial court on Signed By : ALOK SETH High Court of Calcutta 23 rd of April 2024 05:00:32 PM

every date of hearing until further orders and shall not intimidate witnesses or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever.

In the event the petitioners fail to appear before the trial court without any justifiable cause, the trial court shall be at liberty to cancel their bail in accordance with law without further reference to this Court.
