Bose ... for the State The report of the office of the Superintendent, Jalpaiguri Central Correctional Home vide memo no. 2022/RB/616/7381 dated 23.11.2022 revealed that the appellant Bhula@ Bhawla Uraon had expired in the month of September 2007 in view of the report of S.I. Bhayesh Subba of Dhupguri P.S. Jalpaiguri. It is further submitted that the aforesaid appellant was released from the said correctional home on expiry of sentence on 29.04.2006 in connection with the Sessions Case No. 42 of 1995. In view of the above circumstances, the instant appeal being CRA 261 of 2001 stands abated.

The criminal appeal being CRA 261 of 2001is disposed of. The report of the office of the Superintendent, Jalpaiguri Central Correctional Home is kept with the record. (Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J.)
