1. The present revisional application has been filed, inter alia, praying for expeditious disposal of the Title Suit No. 42 of 2016 pending before the First Court of learned Civil Judge (Junior Division) at Chinsurah, Hooghly.

2. Considering the nature of relief sought for, the instant revisional application is taken up for consideration without prior service thereof on the opposite parties.

3. Mr. Ray, learned advocate appearing in support of the revisional application by drawing attention of this Court to the order sheet filed in Court today would submit that the cross-examination of the plaintiff's first witness has been going on since 15th January, 2024. The plaintiff's first witness has been cross-examined on 22nd April, 2024. On 5th July, 2024 plaintiff prayed for an adjournment. 11th November, 2024 despite being fixed for the cross-examination of the plaintiff's witness, no cross-examination took place.

The order-sheet,

however, does not record that the plaintiff's witness was present. Similarly, on 20th December, 2024 the plaintiff once again sought for an adjournment on medical ground.

4. Having regard thereto, I am not inclined to pass any specific order for expeditious disposal of the suit at this stage.

5. It is only expected that the learned trial Judge shall make an endeavour to expeditiously dispose of the suit.

6. The petitioner is directed to serve the revisional application and to communicate this order to the opposite parties.

7. With the above observations and directions, the revisional application stands disposed of.
