Matter is taken up for consideration pursuant to the order dated 28th April, 2026 when learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that petitioner cast vote on 29th April, 2026 being one of eligible voters under Basanti Constituency.

Though respondent no.11 does not file report today in terms of the order dated 28th April, 2026 but since it is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner was able to cast his vote on 29th April, 2026, no further order need be passed on this writ petition.

Respondent nos. 13 to 17 are represented by learned advocates.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
