Party/parties is/are represented in the order of their name/names as printed above in the cause title. The Appellants/Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL), who are represented by Mr. Bhattacharya, Learned Senior Counsel appearing with Mrs. Banerjee, Learned Advocate, produces a letter dated 8th June, 2023 addressed to the son of the writ petitioner. The contents of the said letter, inter alia, disclose that upon examination of the medical fitness of the son of the writ petitioner namely, Sri Rudra Gopal Chatterjee, it has been found that he is fit for employment in a Group 'B' post as per Coal India Limited (CIL) Medical Attendance Rules, September, 2017.

Accordingly, the son of the writ petitioner has been asked to submit fresh documents as stated in the letter dated 8th June, 2023 (supra) for finally processing his employment.

ECL undertakes before this Court to complete the entire process within twelve weeks from the date of submission of the documents as asked for by the letter dated 8th June, 2023(supra). Further, in view of the undertaking as recorded above, the claim for Monthly Monetary Cash Compensation (MMCC) of the appellant, is not being considered by this Court.

In view of aforesaid position of facts nothing further requires to be adjudicated in the appeal. MAT 796 of 2022 with IA No. CAN 2 of 2022 stand accordingly disposed of.
