The present revisional application has been preferred challenging the M.P. Case No.232 of 2013 under Section 144(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure which was pending before the learned Sub-Divisional Executive Magistrate, Barasat, North 24 Parganas.

Having regard to the time period prescribed under the provisions, I am of the opinion that the original proceedings pending before the learned Magistrate has become infructuous. Accordingly, M.P. Case No.232 of 2013 is quashed.

Consequently, CRR 894 of 2013 is dismissed as infructuous.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
