Mr. Biswarup Bhattacharya, Mr. Sumitava Chakraborty ....for the respondent no.7 The present appeal has been preferred challenging an order dated 22nd April, 2025 passed in a writ petition being WPA 497 of 2025. The said writ petition was preferred primarily challenging an order of demolition dated 24th July, 2000. By the order impugned in the present appeal, the said writ petition has been dismissed. Heard Mr. Chakraborty, learned advocate appearing for the appellants.

In course of hearing, Mr. Sumitava Chakraborty, learned advocate appearing for the respondent no.7 submits, upon instruction, that the order of demolition dated 24th July, 2000 has already been set aside by an order dated 14th May, 2025 passed in another writ petition being WPA 10766 of 2025.

In view thereof, the present appeal and the connected application have become infructuous and the same are, accordingly, dismissed.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned advocates for the parties.
