Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a lady. Charge sheet has been submitted. Her further detention is not required.

Opposing the prayer, learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner was the Customer Relationship Officer of Bandhan Bank and taking advantage of her said appointment, siphoned several lakhs of rupees from different customers by changing their account numbers to her convenience and creating fake accounts. Several customers have been duped and have lodged complaints against her.

Considering the material of record prima facie connecting the petitioner to the alleged offence, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The application is disposed of.
