Banerjee) Ms. Alotriya Mukherjee Mr. Ankit Agarwala ...for the petitioners This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the complainant praying for a direction upon the learned Municipal Building Tribunal, Kolkata Municipal Corporation to dispose of B. T. Appeal No. 117 of 2012 expeditiously.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the said appeal is otherwise ready for hearing and May 15, 2025 has been fixed for hearing of the said appeal.

In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite parties. However, the learned advocate-on-record of the petitioners shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order, upon the opposite parties or upon the

learned advocate representing the opposite parties before the learned tribunal.

It appears from the record that such an appeal is pending from the year 2012.

In view thereof, CO 1527 of 2025 is disposed of by requesting the learned Municipal Building Tribunal, Kolkata Municipal Corporation to take up the hearing of B. T. Appeal No. 117 of 2012 on the next date fixed, i.e., on May 15, 2025, if the same is otherwise ready for hearing and make an endeavour to see that the same is disposed of as expeditiously as possible, preferably by the end of the month of August, 2025 without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
