Petitioner's application seeking renewal of his passport is pending consideration at the end of the Passport Authority.

The Regional Passport Officer is directed to intimate within a fortnight from date the formalities to be complied by the petitioner to make the pending application in order for the authority to process the same.

On compliance of all legal formalities, steps shall be taken by the authority for renewal of the passport at the earliest.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
