The present case relates to G.R. Case No.2176 of 2011 arising out of Bowbazar Police Station Case No.296 dated 29.05.2011. The said case was pending before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 3rd Court, Calcutta. A report has been submitted on behalf of the police authorities. Let the same be kept with the record. The report along with the annexures reflects that the petitioners were acquitted of the charges by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 3rd Court, Calcutta by a judgment and order dated 08.08.2017.

In view of the report so submitted, no order is required to be passed on the merits of the application, which was relating to quashing of the proceedings.

Accordingly, CRR 1406 of 2012 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
