(DB) No. 1661 of 2023 In Re:- An application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Kalyani Police Station Case No. 242 of 2022 dated 20.05.2022 under Sections 302/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act.

And In Re : Debasish Karmakar @ Somu ..... petitioner Mr. Sourav Chakraborty ... for the petitioner Mr. Neguive Ahmed, learned APP Mr. Asif Dewan ... for the State Heard the learned Counsels for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected earlier on merits. Date has been fixed for recording prosecution evidence.

In view of gravity of the offence and incriminating materials on record, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
