Counsel for the SSC fairly admits that there has been an error on the part of the Commission in this regard.

Let the matter be remanded back to the Chairman of the SSC for appropriate and suitable action.

Let a decision be taken by the Chairman of the SSC within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order.

Let such decision be communicated to the petitioner within 7 days thereafter.

The writ petition being WPA 8624 of 2019 is accordingly, disposed of.
