It appears that the dispute between the parties has been amicably settled and the defacto complainant/ opposite party does not intend to proceed with the matter any further. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that allowing the proceeding to continue shall be a futile exercise. The criminal revision being CRR No. 1571 of 2024 is allowed in terms of the compromise entered into by and between the petitioners and the private opposite party. The connected application being CRAN No. 1 of 2024 is disposed of accordingly.

The proceeding being ACGR No. 3580 of 2022 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, South 24Parganas be quashed.

The petitioners be set at liberty at once and discharged from their bail bonds.
