Pursuant to the earlier order dated 25.01.2024 a report has been submitted by the Inspector of Police, Cyber Police Station, Kolkata. According to the said Officer in the report it has been contended that there were some bold videography of the complainant which was taken during shooting which were subsequently circulated in various online platforms without the consent of the complainant. However, the said links have subsequently been deactivated. The statement of the de facto complainant as also her declaration has been enclosed along with the report. She has expressed that she is not interested to pursue with Lalbazar Cyber Police Station Case No.56 of 2022 dated 03.05.2022.

In view of the statement and the declaration made by the lady as also the findings of the Inspector of Cyber Police Station, Kolkata, I am of the opinion that further continuance of the proceedings under the changed circumstances are unwarranted. Accordingly, all further proceedings of Lalbazar Cyber

Police Station Case No.56 of 2022 dated 03.05.2022 including the charge-sheet submitted therein is hereby quashed. Thus, CRR 1492 of 2023 is allowed.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

Report so submitted by the Inspector of Cyber Police Station, Kolkata be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
