Habibur Rahaman ....for the petitioner The petitioner complains that the private respondents have entered into his land and have effected construction notwithstanding order of status quo passed by the LRTT in O.A. No. 79 of 2008. Proceedings under Section 19 of the Act for Contempt of the LRTT has also been filed.

The petitioner may seek appropriate directions on the Raiganj Police Station, Uttar Dinajpur from the LRTT to enforce its orders. This Court is of the view that the LRTT is empowered to pass directions on the police to enforce any of its orders.

The Raiganj Police shall, however ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area. The petitioner shall communicate this order to the Raiganj Police Station.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
