Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been implicated in the instant case on the accusation of alleged recovery of 30.650 kgs. of Ganja. Petitioner is in custody for more than four months. Learned advocate submits that there is no prospect so far as the proceedings are concerned. As such, the petitioner prays for bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail.

The investigation of the case is still in progress. Having considered the same and commercial quantity of contraband being seized, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 863 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed.
