The private respondent/son is present in Court. Although, it is stated by the respondent/son that there are two separate buildings and the son resides in the separate premises, Senior Counsel for the State, Mr. Banerjee, submits that it is a single building with a common staircase. The son stays at the back portion of the building and the father stays in the front portion. While there might have been disputes, differences and disturbances in the past, the parties are living at peace now.

The private respondent/son is warned against interacting with or disturbing the petitioner or his wife. The parties indicate that there is a civil suit filed by the petitioner against the son seeking declaration. Counsel for the petitioner claims that he does not have any instructions with regard to the civil suit.

The matter appears to have been suppressed before this Court.

Be that as it may, both parties shall maintain peace in the locale. The English Bazar Police Station shall, however, maintain strict vigil over the said premises.

The personal appearance of the respondent/son is dispensed with.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
