Ms. Faria Hossain Ms. Sonali Das ...... for the State Having considered materials on record and bearing in mind the statements of witnesses prima facie disclosing involvement of the petitioner in subjecting the victim housewife to torture, we are of the opinion in view of the gravity of the offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, we are of the opinion, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is necessary and this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
