The report reflects that Bishnupur PS Case No.245/2021 dated April 22, 2021 was registered for investigation under sections 342/386/34 IPC and sections 25/27 Arms Act. The police authorities have given details in which manner the investigation is in progress. Steps were taken by the investigating agency to record the statement of the vital witnesses under section 164 CrPC.

Having regard to the manner in which the investigation of the case is underway, I am of the view that steps taken by the investigating authority are just and proper. As such no interference is called for. If the petitioner is aggrieved by any subsequent action of the police authorities, he may approach the jurisdictional court in seisin of the criminal case.

With the observations as above, WPA No.10659 of 2021 stands disposed of.
